Internal Exposure: Development of Guidance for the Generation of Fraction Unbound in Plasma (Fup) Data for Cosmetics Relevant “Difficult to Test Chemicals” for PBK Model Parameterization
Objective
The objectives of this project are to evaluate the applicability of standard methodologies, and modifications to standard methodologies and alternative / new / advanced methodologies for the accurate determination of fup for highly protein bound and/or highly hydrophobic chemicals with the objective to provide guidance, decision criteria and workflows regarding their application.
