Internal Exposure:  Evaluation of Extended Clearance Classification System (ECCS) for Rational In Vitro Testing and Reliable PBK Modeling

The overall objective is to increase the reliability of PBK model simulations for cosmetic ingredients. In particular, this project aims to:  

• Propose a tiered testing strategy and a decision-making framework
• Identify and evaluate predictive approaches
• Conduct case studies using cosmetics ingredients to assess the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed framework
• Disseminate findings through international guidance documents, publications, etc.
