Updates on NAMs Applied to Human and Environmental Safety Second Webinar: Human Health Safety

Save the date! ICCS, collaborating with Universidade Federal de Goiás Faculty of Pharmacy (FF/UFG) and Tox In Laboratory of Education and Research in In Vitro Toxicology, will be presenting a free webinar serie, “Updates on New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) Applied to Human and Environmental Safety,” provided in Portuguese or Spanish.

The second webinar in the monthly serie will be presented, in Portuguese, on November 13, 14:00 Brasília/Brazil time or 11:00 Mexico City/Mexico.

The second webinar theme will be Human Health Safety.

Dr Frederico Martins (Scientific Lead – Latin America, Simulations Plus, Inc. Germany) presenting “PBPK Modeling for Next-Generation Risk Assessment of Cosmetic Ingredients”

Dr Vanessa Rocha (Head of Global Product Safety Sciences, Givaudan, US) presenting “Quantitative Skin Sensitization Assessment Based on OECD Methods: Deriving a Point of Departure for Risk Assessment”

Moderated by: Prof Marize Campos Valadares (Federal University of Goiás, Brazil)

This In Vitro Science Webinar Serie will cover topics ranging from NGRA, PBPK modeling, validation, (Q)SARs, and legislative changes in Latin America. With legislation related to the banning of animal testing for cosmetics increasing in the region, this serie aims to increase confidence in the use of NAMs and promote their application for human and environmental safety.

Experts and non-experts on NAMs from academia, industry, and regulatory industries are welcome to join.
